Legal Counsel; Director of Investor Relations: 2000 – 2003

Lynch Investments, LLC, San Francisco, CA

    • Oversaw investor relations and legal communications for a San Francisco-based real estate investment and development company.
    • Negotiated and drafted purchase contracts, management agreements, and leases.
    • Performed due diligence and financial analysis of acquisitions and development projects.
    • Arranged debt and equity financing for multi-million dollar real estate acquisitions.
    • Worked with contractors and escrow officers to close real estate sales and acquisitions.

Associate Attorney: 1995 – 1999
Davis Wright Tremaine LLP, San Francisco, CA
Advised clients in the merger, acquisition and sale of corporate and partnership entities.

    • Negotiated and drafted purchase agreements, management contracts, partnership
      agreements, real and personal property leases, employment contracts and service agreements.
    • Advised clients as to the organization and structure of corporations, partnerships and sole
      proprietorships.

    • Served as legislative point person for a senior Member of the U.S. House of Representatives.
    • Briefed Representative Mink on health care reform, Social Security, tax, and housing issues.
    • Prepared legislation pending before the U.S. House of Representatives.
    • Drafted speeches and correspondence, and represented the Congresswoman in meetings with
      government officials, interest groups, and constituents.
